Winter Snow Removal 

Please remember that cars should not be parked on the side of Main Street between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. during our snowy winter months to allow for snow removal.

Waste Management

Weekly garbage is limited to 4 bags with a maximum weight of 20 lbs per bag. Additional garbage bags are a fee of $2 per bag and will appear on your next bill.

Dumpster Rentals:

4 yard dumpster

Setting Fee $25

  • one-time charge, payable in advance of dumpster placement

Dumping Fee $25 weekly

  • dumpsters are automatically emptied once per week and the fee is charged each time the dumpster is emptied 

6 yard dumpster

 Setting Fee $50

  • one-time charge, payable in advance of dumpster placement

Dumping Fee $50 weekly

  • dumpsters are automatically emptied once per week and the fee is charged each time the dumpster is emptied 


Additional dumpster information

  • Dumpster rentals are billed monthly.
  • Prohibited dumpster items include: bricks or blocks, paint, pipe, yard waste, motor oil, tires.
  • Services are not available on the weekends.

Holiday Pickup Schedule:

  • New Year's Day - Wednesday, January 1 - Wednesday pick up will be Thursday
  • Presidents' Day - Monday, February 17 - Monday pick up will be Tuesday, Tuesday pick up will be Wednesday and Wednesday pick up will be Thursday
  • Good Friday - Friday, April 18 (no changes)
  • Memorial Day - Monday, May 26 - Monday pick up will be Tuesday, Tuesday pick up will be Wednesday and Wednesday pick up will be Thursday 
  • Independence Day - Friday, July 4 (no changes)
  • Labor Day - Monday, September 1 - Monday pick up with be Tuesday, Tuesday pick up will be Wednesday, and Wednesday pick up will be Thursday
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 27 (no changes)
  • Black Friday - Friday, November 28 (no changes)
  • Christmas Eve - Wednesday, December 24 - Wednesday pick up will be Friday
  • Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25 (no changes)

Water Department

Water meters
As a reminder to all residents during the colder months, frozen water meters are a fee of $300 to be replaced.
